Mission/FAQ

MISSION:

The mission of this blog is to do more than recreate the $uper $aver community that brought hundreds of thousands of consumers together with the common goal of saving money for more than 20 years.  The Mission of this blog is to reach consumers on a global basis with the philosophy of sharing methods of saving money and simplifying our lives in order not to only ”survive”  but to “THRIVE!” in these increasingly difficult financial times.

Bill Geist said it best when he said, “Welcome to the future, a time when the Jan Leasure’s of the world will be our gurus, lead our movements, show us the way, $ave us: Through coupons, Redemption!”  -Bill Geist, Chicago Tribune/CBS News, NY

When Bill wrote this in his ironic way it was prior to $uper $aver growing from an educational force that helped readers from coast to coast save millions of dollars using a strategic approach to redeeming manufacturer’s cents-of coupons, to a comprehensive money saving lifestyle.

My goal is to breath life into our money saving community to personalize and share our money saving experiences so that we can live better for less, removing some of the “fear factor:” that is inevitable in an economy that takes such a drastic downturn with soaring unemployment.

In conjunction with this philosophy, I hope to help take a small step toward saving our hard copy newspapers by allowing daily and weekly newspapers to print $uper $aver without charge. Perhaps Bill Geist was right when he implied, tongue in cheek so long ago, that Coupons would be our Redemption!
